Expectations :
The forecast of an optimist!
Where does reality bind hope?
Should such hope be constrained?
We cannot achieve without goals.
Yet, “shoot for the moon” falls on tired ears.
Expectations:
The folly of the naive!
When will we learn the lesson?
Can we ever realize fantasy?
We may not tread on the water.
But if we do not try, nothing will keep us afloat.
Expectations:
The bonds of a naysayer!
How can we fail to strive?
Would daring gain us ground?
We should not be cowed by fear,
though such oft is the case.
Expectations:
The savior of our spirit!
What would we do without?
Could the dreamer be right?
The risk is wondrous great.
Each path has its own destiny.
